Richard has been painting since 1991. At the start of his career he began painting to capture underlining emotions he couldn't quite express throughout his other talents. Richard had never considered selling his work and was painting for personal pleasure. But actor friend Dennis Hopper urged him to share his creativity with the world. In 2009 Richard began showing his work and describes his painting style as 'abstract-emotionalism'. Today his art work is all over the world as well as sought after by numerous collectors.
